Sr. Pastors Cary and Tammy Tilson
Cary-
As a young boy, Pastor Cary felt the nudging of the Lord on his heart. He gave his heart to Jesus in 1967. During his teenage years, he found himself repeatedly going to the altar praying for change, yet change never came.
When he finally grasped the truth of God’s Word, he realized God had already done all that He was going to do. The provision for victory was already in place. This was the turning point for Pastor Cary to receiving his victory. It was also when he knew his call was to share with others how they too can walk in a victorious lifestyle.
Pastor Cary has been teaching the Word of God since 1986. He has made it his purpose in ministry to do as Ephesians 4:12 states, “for the perfecting of the saints; for the work of the ministry; for the edifying of the body Christ.”
In November of 2016, Cary and his wife Tammy, accepted the pastorate of ACC. Pastor Cary graduated from Rose State College in 1975, with an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, and from Jerry Savelle’s School of Ministry in 2001.
Tammy -
Pastor Tammy felt the Love of God at a very young age. In 1972, she invited Jesus into her life to be her Lord and Saviour, and the passion and love for Him grows stronger with each passing day.
Pastor Cary and Tammy were married in 1977, and have two married sons and four grandchildren. From then until now Tammy has served and lead in children’s ministry, music ministry, prayer ministry, women’s ministry and outreach programs. She was a prayer partner with TBN, and served as the Administrator for Heritage of Faith Christian Center, founded by Dr. Jerry Savelle. Tammy and Cary served as Associate Pastors at ACC before accepting the pastorate call. Tammy’s greatest desire is to share the love of God and His goodness to all.
