Be Filled

Christmas, our day to celebrate the birth of Jesus, is only ten days away.  This will probably be a very busy time for all of us.  In addition to the usual schedules we all have, more activities will probably be added.

Remember to start your day with the One you are celebrating. Take time to talk with Him about your day and let Him direct your path. Following His directions will make our lives so much easier.

Think of yourself as one of God’s power vessels. Just as every power vehicle needs to be refueled, your spirit needs refueling also.  Fill it up with communicating with God through His Word, praising Him and praying.

1 Thess. 5:16-19 sums this up very well:  “Rejoice evermore, Pray without ceasing, In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you, Quench not the Spirit.”

As you fill up your spirit man and keep it full you will surely be walking in verse 23 of 1 Thessalonians – “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ”.

Have a very Blessed week! In His Love,

Betty
